Blue jet della notte fra il 12 e 13 dicembre 2009

Il bottino della notte di passione, quando in diretta via Skype si condividevano i vari fenomeni che nel frattempo si manifestavano sull'adriatico, fra geminidi, bolidi, gigant jet o quello che è, sprite, elfi ho ripreso anche questi che sembrano proprio dei blue jet, tutto quanto con camera a colori, che ne dite?

Non appaiono blu e sono molto lontani e bassi sull'orizzonte, ma la forma secondo me è compatibile con questi fenomeni.

This is also a great catch and I look forward to investigate it along with the GJ that night. I think I've got some similar events (upward lightning "spike" coming out of the cloud) but not so extensive as this. And you've got one that diverges at the top like a jet. They look too bright for me to conclude they are really jets. But they could be an equivalent form when we have lower cloud tops, with more characteristics of hot lightning leaders than cool glow discharge streamers. It seems to have come from a different storm so it looks like the atmospheric conditions were somehow favorable at the larger scale.... very interesting. I have some thoughts brewing about this....
If anybody else got similar events, I'd like to know about it.
